LOWER Wyke Moravian Church will be hosting its annual Proms in the Paddock on Saturday - June 18.
Music-lovers will be able to wave Union Jack flags and sing along to traditional prom songs.
There will be a special concert by Clifton and Lightcliffe band which will end with traditional flag waving finale including Land of Hope and Glory.
The event starts at 6pm with the concert beginning at 7.15pm.
People are encouraged to take their own picnics and tables and chairs.
Tickets cost £6 and are available from 01484 712929. Children are free.
If the weather is bad then the event will be taken inside the church.
On Sunday there will be the cafe church in the Sunday school from 10.30am.
On July 9 St John’s Church, Clifton, are holding their Proms on the Paddock at 146 New Street.
Clifton and Lightcliffe Band will be performing a varied programme, and singer Rachel Crisp will be performing, prior to jetting off to America the following day, with the Keeble College choir from Oxford University.
There will be raffle prizes and an auction which includes the chance to win a weekend in the Lake District and an England Rugby Union shirt.
The finale will include fireworks and a rendition of ‘Land of Hope and Glory’
