A charity golf day has helped to raise more than £2,000 for charity.

Organised by Dave Rathmell at Old Brodleians Rugby Club in Hipperholme and Michelle Taylor of Taylored Elegance, 52 players created 13 teams to attend the event at Lightcliffe Golf Club.

Michelle said: “The idea was to trial a small golf day this year to raise funds for the Old Brods and their charity partners Yorkshire Air Ambulance, with a view to it becoming a bigger event next year and hopefully subsequent years.

“The event was a resounding success and will most certainly go ahead again next year, but on a larger scale.”

Barclays Bank PLC supported the event and agreed match funding to a value of £750.

They would like to thank Neil Davidson for his support as both starter and speaker at the presentation evening.
