Today will see chilly start with some sunny spells and become gradually milder, cloudier and breezier through the day. Some patchy light rain will spread from the west in the late afternoon, mainly falling over the Pennines. Maximum Temperature 8C.

Tonight will continue to be cloudy and breezy, with further patchy rain at times, mainly over the Pennines. Less cold than recent nights, but perhaps still feeling quite chilly in the wind. Minimum Temperature 5C.

Metro are reminding passengers that most West Yorkshire buses and trains will operate during the day but gradually stop from early evening.
