SCHOOLDAYS of years gone by, along with games and a treasure hunt, were enjoyed by Year Two children from Castlefields Infant School, Rastrick, when they went on a residential visit to Haworth.
The children spent the first morning at Ogden Water, Halifax, studying nature and the habitat of mini beasts. In Haworth, where they stayed overnight in a Youth Hostel, they visited the Bronte Museum, learned how the Brontes lived and also had a lesson in the old schoolroom.

The garden at the Youth Hostel provided the perfect setting for games and a treasure hunt and everyone enjoyed a full English breakfast before walking into Haworth.

“The sunny weather helped us have a great time and the children made the trip fantastic,” said school administrator Debbie Grange.
