THE first phase of a £1 million refurbishment programme at a former town centre pub is ready to open.
The Street Pakistani Restaurant in Park Street, Brighouse, is ready to welcome its first customers on Monday, May 12.
The former Clifton Arms closed five years ago and planning permission for the building to be converted into a restaurant was given two years ago.
The building, which was acquired by Shehzad Hussain two years ago, has undergone a major refurbishment both to the exterior and the interior and the ground floor banqueting dining area will be open from 5pm on May 12.
