CHRISTMAS and the pantomime season may seem a long way off but plans are already in hand for the annual production at St John's Church, Rastrick.
A final decision has still to be made about which panto will be presented but anyone interested in taking part including adults and secondary school students, are invited to a read through on Wednesday, July 1, at 8pm in the Community Hall, St John Street, off Gooder Lane, Rastrick. Experience is not necessary but wishing to have fun is a vital requirement.
Secretary Mr Graham Readshaw said St John’s panto was well known as one of the best throughout Calderdale thanks to the dedicated team of actors, musicians, chorus and people working both back stage and front of house.
Another meeting is being held on Wednesday September 2 at 7.15pm at the same venue, for anyone interested in taking part in the chorus.
Further details are available from Mr Readshaw on 01484 713699.
