Ross reaps rewards for his hard work

A YOUNG electrical installation engineer, who turned his life around with the help of a Government training initiative, has been rewarded for his outstanding personal achievement.
Nineteen-year-old Ross Holroyd was an out-of-work apprentice plasterer who grabbed the opportunity to re-train with both hands and is now looking to a bright new future thanks to the Activity Agreement scheme run through Connexions in West Yorkshire in partnership with the county's district councils.
