Quick-thinking workers avert a cat-astrophe

TWO adventurous kittens took on more than they could handle when they climbed a tree near the canal bank at Brookfoot, Brighouse.
One became stuck up the tree while the other fell down and was left lying lifeless at the bottom.
But thanks to workers at Avocet Hardware, Brookfoot, the tabby and white kitten called Reid and his sister, black and white Poppy are both recovering well at the RSPCA in Halifax where staff are hoping to re-home them.
