Hitching a ride on road to Morocco

STUDENT Hannah Bond and two of her friends set out to cover the 1,600 miles to Morocco by hitching as many lifts as possible and sticking to a tight budget.
And while they admit to catching the occasional train they are still pleased with the outcome of their 10-day trek.
Hannah, 19, whose home is in Brighouse, is a student at Newcastle University and along with her friends Rebecca Tickle, 18, from Liverpool, and Mike Trowbridge, 20, from Durham, they took on the challenge of The Hitch to raise money for Link Community Development, an organisation that works to improve teaching and learning in disadvantaged schools in Africa.
