THERE will be the chance for music fans to revel in nostalgia at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, this month.
First to stir the memories will be singer and heart-throb David Essex who has captured many hearts in his phenomenal career. He will be at the Victoria Theatre on May 13 performing all his favourite hits including 'Hold Me Close', 'Gonna Make You a S
tar' and 'Rock On', as well as tracks from his new album.

David Essex has enjoyed success on the stage and screen and notched up 23 top 30 singles in Britain alone. The music starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £22.50 and £20.50.

The nostalgia will continue on May 18 when the Zombies and the Yardbirds, two of the most influential bands of the 1960s, rock into town. With the keyboard wizardry of Rod Argent and the distinctive voice of Colin Blunstone, the Zombies were part of the 1960s invasion of America and one of the first acts to enjoy global popularity.

The Yardbirds bridged the gap between early '60s R&B and the psychedelic power chords of the early 1970s with hits such as 'For Your Love' and 'Shapes of Things'. The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £24.50 and £22.50.

For ticket information contact the box office on 01422 351158.
