A FLAWLESS performance of 'Lord of the Dance' won Brighouse dance student Chloe Ward a place in the finals of a competition to find the nation's top talent.
Ten-year-old Chloe is a pupil at the Ciara Darcy Academy of Irish Dance which is based at St John's Church Hall, Rastrick.

While on holiday at the Lower Hyde caravan and camping site on Isle of Wight in the summer, Chloe competed in the resort's weekly talent show.

She won her way through to the next round of the contest, which was held at the beginning of the month, and beat off competition from 150 other Lower Hyde performers with her stunning version of 'Lord of the Dance'.

A pupil at Lindley Junior School, Huddersfield, Chloe will now return to take part in the Park Resorts finals at Highfield Grange, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, on November 2, and to compete for prize money of £250. Her winning dance was based on an idea by Chloe's cousin Ryan Darcy, who also put together the music. Chloe's sister Kaitlyn, aged six, also attends the Ciara Darcy Academy.
