HUNDREDS of people took to the water when the White Rose Ski Club held its annual open day at Cromwell Bottom, Brighouse.
Visitors had a go at water skiing, riding inflatables and knee-boarding and enjoyed watching one of the top wakeboarders in the country Carl Smith, aged 18, from York. Mr Smith gave two demonstrations of wakeboarding which is a surface water sport which involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a body of water behind a boat.
Organisers were delighted with the event which raised £320 for charity.
