BACON butties went down a treat with people who supported a Spring Sale organised by the choir at Central Methodist Church, Brighouse.
Visitors also had the chance to buy home-made cakes along with books and others items and the event raised £412.88.

"We had a very successful morning with plenty of people calling in to enjoy the refreshments," said choir member Mrs Julia Wilby.

The Ladies' Evening Fellowship from the church held a similar event when hot beef teacakes and apple pie and cream were available along with stalls and a raffle.
