The annual Halloween Party at the Rastrick Bowling and Social Club was held last Sunday and attended by around 50 children and their parents. It was a great turn out for the club’s popular calendar event and the children enjoyed a treasure hunt, sleeping monsters, pass the pumpkin and broomstick relays followed by hot dogs all round. They then finished off with disco music. Preparations for Christmas have started but before then is the popular Robbie Williams tribute night on the November 22.

There are some tickets still available from behind the bar at the club.

This Saturday at The Calder they have popular local rock band Storm who are back at the pub by popular demand.

This will be the third time this year that the band will return to the Calder, due to such high demand for them.

It will all start from 9pm with the bar open until 1am.

The popular bar and eatery have also introduced their very own ‘Dine and Disco’ Christmas party night which will take place on Saturday 7th December which starts from £10.99 per head and includes a buffet, live band and a DJ, all under one roof!

Limited spaces are still available for this event.

Tonight (Thursday) at The Barge it’s the weekly jam session with Mike Brown. On Friday evening Julian and Michelle will welcome Chicago Joe and The Soul Divas. Saturday night Helter Skelter will take to the stage.
