Dancer Ess Green lands a part in a West End show

DANCER Ess Green is doing flips after landing a part in a West End theatre show.

The Brighouse businessman who owns Axznt in Bradford Road is touring with the show called Some Like It Hip Hop by ZooNation Dance company that will appear at Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre today and Saturday.

The show has had five star reviews across the board since the show started touring in the West End for a month.

Ess appeared on Sky’s Got To Dance with crew The A-Team which made it to the final ten of the hit show in March at Kensington Olympia in London.

“This is very different for me because it is my first theatre job but I’m loving it,” he said.

Ess also auditioned for a Michael Jackson Tribute Show in Las Vegas and despite not getting the job, he has been kept on the books for future parts.

He has also recorded in another West End show called Flashmob and is still running his shop, which is set to move near to Prego’s, shortly.

“Business is amazing at the moment. The only problem is that it is so busy and because I am not there to do the work it is difficult,” he said.

“I commute to the shop from where I am touring and I just don’t stop. But I love it and I have got to do it and it is the only way to have the best of both worlds.

“I don’t want to close the business because it is something I have created so I have got to do my best.”
